Fresh juices at a cafe in Ubud, Bali

Why don’t I order more juice at home? Maybe because I know it’s full of sugar, preservatives, and who knows what. I have no problem ordering a cocktail (or 3) and filling my body with all sorts of toxins. But here in SE Asia, I’ve quickly exchanged many of those cocktail orders for fresh juices. There are so many amazing concoctions that I don’t need the spirits to make it interesting, and Hazel can’t get enough either…especially if it’s chock full of mango! Her daily goal has become to find a smoothie at every meal.

Here are our favorite blends so far, and where to find the best juice in Ubud..

The Carr-Bee from the Beehouse Dijiwa Ubud
Apple, lemon, ginger, carrot, beetroot, and honey

Blood-Cleanser from the Yoga Barn
Beetroot, celery, cucumber, kale, ginger, lemon juice

Aloha Cooler from Alchemy
Pineapple, mint, and cucumber

Lime Squash from Balikayanas
Fresh lime, simple syrup, mint leaf, soda water

Excited for a smoothie
